About The Network

The Healthy Living Network is a registration portal that lists quality healthy lifestyle Service Providers, programs and activities that meet the standards of the Quality Framework (Healthy Communities and Healthy Workers). The quality framework is based on robust standards and underpinned by a solid risk management approach that recognises the diversity of risk in the physical activity, healthy eating and healthy weight sectors.

The network aims to connect Australians with quality and innovative programs to increase healthy lifestyle behaviours.

The Healthy Living Network has information on activities that have met the previously mentioned quality standards. Some of these include; walking groups, cycling programs, healthy eating education, smoking cessation, alcohol reduction and other individual and group based programs

All programs and activities searchable on the Healthy Living network have met the Quality Framework (Healthy Communities and Healthy Workers) and are of a consistent high standard and quality, delivered by appropriately skilled persons, risk managed, and monitored and accountable for results.

Providers of healthy lifestyle programs can choose to have their program registered. If you are not currently running healthy lifestyle program, you can choose to use the Principles (Communities and Workplaces) which may assist you to establish, maintain and improve healthy lifestyle programs.
